In a saucepan, brown the butter on low-medium for 5- 10 minutes. Continually stir to avoid burning. Once brown, immediately transfer to a separate bowl and allow the butter to cool for 10 minutes. 1. Beat the brown butter with brown sugar & granulated sugar. Allow it to fully mix. This will be around 2 minutes. 2. 3. Then add egg, & maple praline extract. Beat again. In a separate bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, baking soda, & salt. Then mix into the wet mixture. 4. Coarsely chop the dark chocolate bar into pieces. Mix into batter with pecans. 5. 6. Allow the batter to refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 7. Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Allow to cool on the baking tray for at least 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
