Brown butter truly elevates EVERYTHING!! This is my famous banana bread recipe but I decided to switch it up and brown the butter. Truly… I don’t know if I’ll ever go back!!

1. Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 minutes. 2. Once browned, let it cool for 10 minutes. 3. Beat the cooled brown butter and brown sugar for approximately 2 minutes. 4. Add in the egg and mix further. 5. Add in the mashed bananas and vanilla extract, then mix again. 6. Add all of the dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, baking soda) and gently mix until just combined. 7. Fold in the chocolate chips. 8. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 1 hour. 9. It is recommended to let the bread sit out for at least one hour before slicing to keep it in tact.
