This upside-down pecan cake gives you allll the nostalgic flavors of a pecan sticky bun but with a fraction of the work. The real star of the show is @FIsherNutsBrand pecans! They are seriously the best pecans in the game.

In a bowl, mix together melted unsalted butter with sugar. Then add in 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, sour cream, and milk. Gently fold in all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set cake batter aside and work on sticky pecan topping. In a sauce pan, add butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, & pecans. Bring to a boil then pour into the bottom of a lined 9 inch round cake pan. Top with cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 mins. You will know it is done when a toothpick comes out clean! Let the cake cool for 30 minutes, flip, and enjoy!
