Everything on the weekends is so much simpler. I sleep in later. There is no rush to get things done. I have more time to cuddle with my pups in the AM. I have more time to make brunch with Jay. We went to Trader Joe’s on Friday night & got this brioche bread just to make some French toast. If you haven’t gotten the brioche bread from TJs I STRONGLY recommend it. It is so freakin light and fluffy. It is perfectly thick cut. This bread is literally begging to become French toast. Just like that you have the coziest weekend brunch!!

fl oz maple syrup
slice Brioche Loaf

tsp vanilla extract

tsp cinnamon

banana
egg

cup full fat milk
In a bowl, beat together 2 eggs, 3/4 cup whole milk, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract. Dip both sides of your brioche bread in the mixture and cook in a skillet with butter until golden brown on both sides. For the caramelized bananas, fry sliced bananas in butter and maple syrup until softened and caramelized.View original recipe
