What you need

cup granulated sugar

tbsp vanilla extract

cup unsalted butter
egg

pinch salt

oz dark chocolate

cup plain flour

egg yolk

cup white chocolate chips

cup brown sugar

tsp baking soda
Instructions
Brown 1 cup of unsalted butter in a saucepan at medium heat. Monitor and stir throughout the process to avoid burning. This will take 5-10 minutes. Once brown, transfer to your mixing bowl and let the butter cool down for 10 minutes. Once cool, beat with 1 1/4 cups brown sugar and 1/3 cup granulated sugar. Once fully combined, add in 1 tablespoon vanilla extract, 1 egg, and 1 egg yolk. Mix again. Then fold in 2 cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, and a pinch of salt. Then fold in 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, 1 cup white chocolate chips, and coarsely chopped dark chocolate. Refrigerate the mixture for at least 30 minutes. Bake at 350°F for 10-12 minutes. Allow the cookies to set for 20 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack.View original recipe
