Brown Butter Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

What you need

cup semisweet chocolate chips

cup unsalted butter

tsp baking powder

tsp baking soda

tsp salt

cup brown sugar

cup all purpose flour
egg

Instructions
In a saucepan, brown 1/2 c unsalted butter over medium heat for 5-10 mins. Stir to avoid burning!! Allow the butter to cool for 10 mins, then mix with 1 c brown sugar. Add in 3 mashed overripe bananas & mix again. Then add 1 tsp vanilla extract and 1 egg & mix again. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 c all purpose flour, 1 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp baking powder, & 1/4 tsp salt. Gently fold in the dry mixture into the wet mixture. Fold in 1 c semisweet chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Allow to sit & cool for at least one hour before slicing and enjoying!! (Yes you can slice earlier but it’ll be a mess so patience!!!)View original recipe
