my famous (to me) banana bread 🍌🍞🍫

I call this my “famous banana bread” because I have been making this same recipe for yearrrrssss. The only tweak I have made recently is adding brown butter instead of room temperature butter. Why? Because brown butter makes everything better 🤪 this recipe is always a crowd pleaser & it is my fav way to use up those overripe bananas (I have a laundry list of ways to use them up so lmk if you need other suggestions)

What you need

cup brown sugar

cup flour
egg

tsp baking powder

tsp baking soda

cup butter

tsp vanilla extract

Instructions
Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat for 5 mins. Once browned, let cool for 10 minutes before moving to the next step. Beat butter and sugar for ~2 minutes. Add in the egg & mix some more. Add in the mashed bananas + vanilla & mix her up some more. Add all of the dry ingredients and gently mix. Fold in chocolate chips. Bake at 350 for 1 hour! I’d recommend letting the bread sit out for at least one hour before slicing to keep the bread in tact!!View original recipe
