I’m telling you BANANA BREAD IS THE KEY TO MY HEART!! Baking banana bread just makes me so freakin happy and I love trying new variations :)

What you need

light-brown sugar

all purpose flour
tsp baking powder

cup chocolate chips
brown egg

tsp baking soda

tsp vanilla extract

salted butter
Instructions
🍌Beat butter and sugar for ~2 minutes 🍌Add in the egg & mix some more 🍌Add in the mashed bananas + vanilla & mix her up some more 🍌Add all of the dry ingredients and gently mix 🍌Pour half of your batter into a lined bread pan 🍌Mix together 1/3 c sugar w/ 1 tbsp cinnamon and pour over the batter 🍌Pour the remaining batter on top and take a knife to gentry swirl the cinnamon sugar. Do not over do this! 🍌Bake at 350 for 1 hour! I’d recommend letting the bread sit out for at least one hour before covered in icing (I made a simple icing with confectioners sugar, milk, and vanilla extract)View original recipe
