An easy and delicious festive appetizer made with puff pastry, pesto, and parmesan cheese, shaped like Christmas trees and topped with a cherry tomato.

Instructions

Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Roll out one sheet of puff pastry. Spread pesto evenly over the pastry. Grate parmesan cheese over the pesto. Place the second sheet of puff pastry on top. Slice the layered pastry into 12-16 pieces. Insert a popsicle stick into the base of each piece and shape it into a tree. Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until golden brown. Top each tree with a cherry tomato before serving.
