You guyyyysss!!!! When I say this is the perfect holiday treat you need to make, I really mean it! This upside-down pecan cake gives you allll the nostalgic flavors of a pecan sticky bun but with a fraction of the work. The real star of the show is @FIsherNutsBrand pecans! They are seriously the best pecans in the game.

What you need

tsp baking powder

cup pecan halves

cup all purpose flour

tsp vanilla extract

cup granulated sugar

cup brown sugar

tsp salt

cup sour cream

cup maple syrup

egg

cup full fat milk
Instructions
In a bowl, mix together melted unsalted butter with sugar. Then add in 2 eggs, 1 tsp vanilla extract, sour cream, and milk. Gently fold in all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Set cake batter aside and work on sticky pecan topping. In a sauce pan, add butter, brown sugar, maple syrup, & pecans. Bring to a boil then pour into the bottom of a lined 9 inch round cake pan. Top with cake batter. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45-55 mins. You will know it is done when a toothpick comes out clean! Let the cake cool for 30 minutes, flip, and enjoy!
